Doing something different for weather events?

Here is my blanket so far. I'm not caught up on the days. I want to do something different for snow. We are having some unusually cold days and even snow. I picked white for 30°f and below because I didn't expect it to get as low as it has been, and now snow. I love snow and I wish I could think of something different to add for it. I don't know if a different stitch would look weird. I don't know what color i could use for snow days idk what would look colder than the white. I just know that I want to mark the snow days we are having because it's unusual. Does anyone have any ideas? Are you/do you do anything special for weather events? Thanks in advance. Be blessed!
